Awards and Honors

Over the past decade several local, state, and national organizations have recognized MSDLT for its award winning academic, athletic, and performing arts programs.  Our list of professional honors is lengthy and many of our faculty members are published authors and researchers.  Our students consistently place in academic events such as the Prelude awards, Brain Game, Indiana Shakespeare competition, Academic SuperBowl, Science Olympiad, Spell Bowl, and Destination Imagination, as well as competitions in Government/law, mathematics, foreign language, art, business, speech, drama, music, journalism, photography, robotics, and athletics. 

We boast a wide range of special initiatives and our innovative approach to education has earned us the reputation of being a “lighthouse innovative school district”.  We are a leader in technology innovation and students, staff, and parents benefit from state-of-the art technology, including online instruction and information that can be accessed 24/7.
