Architectural Services in Connection with McKenzie Center for Innovation and Technology Facility Transformation Project

The MSD of Lawrence Township is anticipating the need to undertake a project  which may involve an extensive and comprehensive facility renovation, expansion, reconfiguration and upgrade of the existing McKenzie Center for Innovation & Technology operated by MSDLT.

Tentative Timeline:
October 13, 2025 - Request the MSDLT Board for approval to issue the RFP
October 14, 2025 – Issue RFP
October 27, 2025 – SOQPs due
October 31, 2025 – Interviews, if any, of Highly Qualified Respondents
November 10, 2025 – Request the MSDLT Board for approval of the Architect; request the MSDLT Board for approval to issue the request for proposals for construction manager as constructor services
November 14, 2025 – Issue the request for proposals for construction manager as constructor services
December 15, 2025 – Responses due to the request for proposals for construction manager as constructor services
January 26, 2026 – Request the MSDLT Board for approval of the construction manager as constructor
March, 2026 – Completion of preliminary schematic designs and pricing
April, 2026 – The MSDLT holds the Preliminary Determination Public Hearings
May, 2026 – 30-day Referendum Request Period
June, 2026 – Commence design development
